The Sydney Institute of Language and Commerce (SILC) at Shanghai University (Jiading campus) is looking for one full-time English Language Teacher to start as soon as possible. The contract is for the length of the academic year (until June 2013) with the possibility of renewal. As the position needs to be filled immediately, only applicants already residing in China, or able to relocate to Shanghai immediately will be considered. Essential Criteria:

• An undergraduate degree

• A recognized TESOL, linguistics or education qualification (e.g. CELTA, Dip Ed)

• A minimum of two years experience teaching, tutoring, training or coaching

• An ability to work as part of a team

Desirable criteria:

• Experience in Academic English, Study Skills, English for Specific Purposes or Test Preparation English

• Professional experience in a university context

Base salaries are between 8,500RMB and 9,500RMB per month (dependant on qualifications and experience).
