Shang-Xue Education Ltd. (www.shang-xue.com ) is a newly founded, professional English tutoring organization with H.Q. in Beijing, China. We provide high quality English tutoring, instruction services to Chinese children ages 4 to 12 years old - the preschool and primary school years. 

Shang-Xue Education provides services under the “FirstClass Kids English Learning Center” brand. Both full-day and afterschool English tutoring programs are offered in the center. We leverage modern technologies as well as latest curriculum developed by world’s leading education publishers to guarantee teaching quality.

Each FirstClass Kids English Learning Center is accompanied by a FirstClass Library, where kids can read classical English picture books, leveled readers, fiction and non-fiction books in a pleasant environment. English reading workshops are also offered to help kids to develop reading skills as well as build good reading habit.

Job description

English teaching based on systematic curriculum for kids ages 2-12, responsibilities include:

1. Teaching English and other subjects under the guided syllabus

2. Capable of adjusting or making certain improvements in classroom teaching plans for target students

3. Creating activities and prepare teaching plans

4. Creating teaching props, as needed, for classes

5. Teaching and training in a world-class teacher education program

6. Applying theory-based methods to support effective English language instruction

7. Engaging in student-centered learning and courses with an international perspective

8. Collaborating with Chinese assistant teachers and other foreign teachers to generate better and more dynamic teaching processes

Desired Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Literature or related major from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada or other English speaking countries

2. 2 years working experience within 1 year teaching experience in K12 education  (kindergarten or primary school)

3. Excellent communication, organizational and intrapersonal skills

4. Result-oriented, able to work under pressure and passionate about education

5. TEFL ( Teaching English as a Foreign Language) or TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate is preferred

6. Ability to work well with Chinese assistant teachers and students

7. Teachers with rich classroom experiences will receive priority
