Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) Program

The GAC is a one or three year university preparation program designed by ACT Education Solutions – the company that created the ACT test. Students study courses in academic English, mathematics, science, business, social science, computer science, and study skills. The program also prepares students to take TOEFL /IELTS and the ACT test at the end of their studies. This internationally recognized program helps prepare students to gain admittance to acclaimed Western universities.

Job Highlights

• Salary: 9,000 – 12,000 RMB/month

• $1,000 USD Signing Bonus, for filling the position quickly – given at end of first semester of teaching

Yantai is a beautiful city on the eastern coast of China, well known for its pleasant weather, charming beaches, and seafood. In Yantai, you can have a more authentic Chinese experience and a lower cost of living than larger Chinese cities. Yantai is located in Shandong province, three hours from Qingdao.

Job Responsibilities

• 15-18 teaching hours/week

• 20 office hours/week

• Administrative paperwork including lesson plans and grading

• Teaching in at least 3 of the following subjects: academic English, mathematics, science, business, social science, computer science, or study skills
