Neungyule Education Inc. is looking for a full-time editor for its Seoul office. Job duties include writing, editing and proofreading EFL learning materials for Korean middle and high school students.

 

Starting date: Sep. 2012

 

- Native speaker of English

- Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from an accredited university

- Bachelor's Degree in English, Linguistics or Education preferred

- Master's Degree OR 2 years experience in editing ESL/EFL or other materials required

- TESOL/CELTA certificate holders preferred

- Advanced grammar knowledge preferred

 

1. Resume (including references or referee's contact details)

2. Cover Letter (highlighting relevant work experience)

 

1st step: Resume Screening

2nd step: Written Test

3rd step: Interview

 

1. Contract: one-year renewable contract (sponsorship of E7 work visa)

2. Salary: 3,000,000 Korean won per month before taxes

3. Housing allowance: 500,000 Korean won per month for monthly rent before taxes

4. Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 am-6:30 pm

(overtime will be compensated at 20,000 won per hour)

5. Completion Bonus: one month's pay upon completion of contract

6. Air ticket (one way, economy class) to the employee's home country upon completing the employment period.

7. Air ticket (round trip, economy class) to Japan for visa renewal if necessary

8. Insurance: medical, health and accident insurance shared 50/50 between the company and the employee

9. Vacation: 15 days of paid vacation- you may use it consecutively when we are less busy.

10. Bereavement leave: five days of unpaid leave
